Overview

Use Computer Systems in the app to show which systems you are familiar with.

Your selected computer systems are visible to employers and can help strengthen your applications by showing relevant experience.

Computer Systems are optional, but we recommend keeping this section up to date as your experience changes.

Open Computer Systems

  1. Open the Locate a Locum app.

  2. Tap More in the main navigation.

  3. Under My Profile, tap Computer Systems.

Update your computer systems

  1. Tick the checkboxes next to each system you are familiar with.

  2. If none of the listed systems apply, select None/Other.

  3. Tap Save Changes.

When your changes have saved, you’ll see a banner confirming Skills have been updated.

You can return to this section at any time to update your selections.

Tips

Only select systems you are familiar with.

If you are unsure which system is used for a shift, contact the store before attending.

Some employers may provide training resources before your first shift if you have not used their system before.

Troubleshooting

  • Do I have to select a computer system?
No. Computer Systems are optional, but adding relevant systems can help strengthen your profile.
If none of the listed systems apply, select None/Other.

  • Can I add a system that is not listed?
No. You can only select from the available list shown in the app.

  • Can I change my selections later?
Yes. You can tick or untick systems at any time, then tap Save Changes.

  • Will this affect whether I can apply or book shifts?
No. Computer Systems help show employers your experience, but they do not control whether you can apply for or book shifts.

  • How do I know my changes saved?
A banner will display confirming Skills have been updated.
