How to cancel a booked shift in the app (Locums)

This guide shows how to request a cancellation for a booked shift in the mobile app.

Cancel a live or booked shift (employer)

What to know

  • Cancellations are visible to employers and may affect future opportunities.

  • Always review the employer’s Cancellation Policy before proceeding.

Cancel a shift

  1. Open the app and tap My Diary.

2. Find and tap the shift you want to cancel.

3. On Shift details, tap Cancel Shift.

4. Read the Cancellation Policy pop-up, then tap Proceed.

5. Select a Cancellation reason from the dropdown.

6. Add additional details in the text box to elaborate on your cancellation reasons.

7. Tap Cancel Shift to submit.
​
​

Troubleshooting

  • “Cancel Shift” button is greyed out - You must select a Cancellation reason and enter Notes before you can proceed.
