In order to fully register on the Locate a Locum app you need to upload 3 essential documents, we know this process can be annoying but it is a requirement from the pharmacies that sign up on our system and ensures that we only have safe and verified locums on the platform.
We only accept genuine and clear photographs or scanned copies of;
- Your passport
- Your driving licence (If you are a UK national)
We will accept clear, genuine photographs of your insurance certificate with the following clearly visible;
- The Insurer name
- Policy number
- Policy start date
There are 3 types of police checks available, depending on where you are based.
- England and Wales : Enhanced DBS
- Scotland : PVG
- Northern Ireland : Enhanced AccessNI
In order for your police check to meet our criteria it must:
- Display your job title as a locum pharmacist
- Must have been issued in the last 12 month
Once you have uploaded your documents a member of our compliance team will review them and approve you on the system. This should be done within 1-2 working days.
