How to change your notification and location settings

A step-by-step guide on how to change your notification and shift searching preferences in your Locate a Locum account

Once logged in to your locum profile, you will see a screen similar to the screenshot below. Navigate to your profile by clicking on the drop-down option beside your name displayed on the top right-hand side of the screen.

Once you’ve selected the drop-down menu select ‘View Profile’, this will then display the below screen:

To access your Notification Settings just click on the relevant tab as displayed in the below screenshot:

Once you select the ‘Notification Settings’ tab then the following screen will appear:

To add a new location select ‘Edit Locations’ on the top right-hand side of the above screenshot then the following screen will display:

Here you’ll be able to add a new location or delete an existing location. If you select ‘Add Location’ the following screen will display:

At this stage, you can start to free text in the location before the system makes suggestions. Once you’ve selected your new location click on the green ‘Save’ icon to save the changes made.

You can also make changes to your Shift Search Settings. Here you can utilise the drop-down menu to set the appropriate radius for shifts as well as indicate whether or not you’d consider traveling further than stated for an increased rate by clicking on the tick box displayed in the below screenshot:

You can also select the relevant tick boxes to enable or disable any ‘Emergency Emails’, ‘Daily Emails’ & ‘Weekly Shift Summary Emails’.

In addition, you can also select the relevant tick boxes to enable or disable any ‘Push Notifications’ ‘SMS Notifications’ & ‘Opt-In/Out of Marketing Emails’.

Furthermore, in the Additional Preferences section, you can use the tick boxes option to enable or disable ‘Stay Away Shifts’ & ‘Permanent Jobs’.
