Applications. Applying For Shifts

It can be disappointing when a shift application is unsuccessful, but it's important to know that it's often due to factors beyond your control. Here are the most common reasons an application might not be accepted:

  • Internal Shift Fill: The pharmacy found cover for the shift from their own team.

  • Shift No Longer Needed: The need for a locum pharmacist changed, and the shift was cancelled.

  • Missing Credentials: The shift required specific credentials (e.g., for a flu clinic), and your profile didn't show them.

What to Do After an Unsuccessful Application

Don't be discouraged! You can take a few simple steps to increase your chances of success for future applications.

  • Apply for multiple shifts: To increase your odds of getting work, apply for all the shifts that fit your schedule. Our app prevents you from being double-booked.

  • Update your profile: Make sure your profile is complete and up-to-date with your latest CPD and accreditations, like MUR or Flu Jab training. Having these credentials will significantly improve your chances.

  • Try Instant Book: For a faster way to secure shifts, use the Instant Book feature. It allows you to get booked with a single click, skipping the application process entirely.
