Police checks such as the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) help pharmacies make safer recruitment decisions for their staff who will be working with vulnerable groups, including children.

If you have a police check already it must:

  • Display your job title as a locum pharmacist

  • Must have been issued in the last 12 months

Depending on where you are based there are different bodies who carry out the police checks and there are often two types of checks you can get, we only accept copies of the Enhanced or Continuous Update services listed below :

England and Wales

  • Enhanced DBS

Scotland

  • PVG

Northern Ireland

  • Enhanced AccessNI

If you don't have a police check yet, good news we can help you get one! Get yours today by sending an enquiry via the button below.
