This article provides a step-by-step guide to registering as a locum with Boots Opticians to start booking shifts.
Registration Process
To book shifts with Boots Opticians, you must complete a multi-step registration process. You will receive links and information from your agency (such as Locate a Locum).
Step 1: Fill Out the Online Form Your agency will send you a link to an online form. Complete and submit this form, which goes directly to the Boots Opticians SAPVENDOR team to add your details to their system. Please allow up to 10 working days for this to be completed.
Step 2: Agency Communication Your agency will email locum4us@boots-opticians.co.uk with your name, address, and GOC number to create a basic profile for you.
Step 3: Account Activation Once your vendor account is created and your vendor number is added to your profile, your account will be marked as "available." Boots Opticians will then notify your agency that you are set up and ready to book shifts.
Step 4: OPS Access If you have not worked with Boots Opticians before, you will need to be granted OPS access. To get a username and password, your agency will send your name and GOC number to locum4us@boots-opticians.co.uk. Your agency will also handle any password reset requests.
Amending Payment Details
If you need to change your bank details after your account has been set up, use the form provided by your agency.
