Before you start
Access is permissions-based. If you can’t edit profiles, ask a Company Admin.
Steps
Open People
Go to People from the main navigation.
2. Find the employee
Search by Name/Email and set User Type as needed.
(Optional) use + Add Filter to narrow results.
Click the employee’s name to open their profile.
3. Open Contract tab
In the left sidebar, select Contract.
4. Add the reference number
Enter the employee’s Reference Number in the relevant field.
5. Save
Click Save (green) to apply changes.
Tips
Use a consistent format for reference numbers (e.g., employee ID, National Insurance Number) to simplify reporting and bulk imports.
Record any context or legacy IDs in Notes on the profile if needed.
Troubleshooting
Field not visible: You may lack permissions or be on the wrong tab—open Contract or ask a Company Admin.
Save is disabled: Ensure all required fields on the tab are valid, then try again.
