How to Remove a Shift from a Block

If you no longer want a shift to be part of a block, you can remove it. The removed shift will be republished as an individual shift and remain available for locums to book.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Shifts screen
    ​

    • Go to Shifts from the main navigation.

    • In the left-hand panel under All Shifts, click Blocks.

2. Select the block
Find the block you want to cancel and click the shift dates (the hyperlink) to open the block details.

3. Choose the shift to remove
In the Actions column, click the Options downward arrow next to the shift you want to remove.

4. Remove from block
From the dropdown, select Remove From Block. A confirmation modal will appear.

5. Confirm removal
Click the red Yes, Remove button. The shift will be taken out of the block and republished as an individual shift.

Additional Information

  • Removing a shift does not cancel it; the shift will remain available on the Shifts page as a standalone posting.

  • The rest of the block will remain active and unchanged.
    ​

Troubleshooting

  • I want to cancel the shift completely instead of removing it: Use the Cancel Shift option from the same menu to cancel the shift.
