Firstly, you will need to navigate to the ‘Find Shifts’ drop-down located on the top left-hand side of the main navigation panel.

Once you select the drop-down menu, you will have the option to view ‘Locum Jobs’ or ‘Stay Always’ as displayed below:

At this point you will select ‘Locum Jobs’ this will then display the following screen:

Here, you will note the ability to filter by ‘All Shifts’, ‘New Shifts’, ‘Worked Before’, ‘Emergencies’ & ‘Blocks’. At this stage you will select the option ‘Blocks’, once selected the screen will display as shown below:

Once you have located a block of shifts that you wish to apply for click the ‘View More’ option.

There are two types of Blocks that an Employer can create, Optional Blocks (Locums can select which shifts within the block they wish to apply for) & Mandatory Blocks (Locums can only apply for the entire block).

Optional Blocks:

If the creator of the Block has made an ‘Optional’ block, then whenever you select the option ‘View More’ the following screen will display:

At this stage, you can select the green ‘Apply for Block’ button. Alternatively, as this is an ‘Optional’ block you’ll be able to manually select which shifts you’d like to apply for. To do this, check the check box to the left of the relevant shift dates, once selected the option to ‘Apply for Selected’ will display as shown below:

Mandatory Block

If the creator of the Block has made a ‘Mandatory’ block, then whenever you select the option ‘View More’ the following screen will display:

Here you will note that you only can apply for the entire block, to do so click on the green ‘Apply for Block’ button.

Once selected, the block status & the individual shift status will update to ‘Applied’ as displayed below:
