How to Request Cancellation of a Shift via the Website as a Locum

A step-by-step guide detailing the steps required for a Marketplace Locum to request cancellation of a shift.

Once you log into your locum profile, you will arrive on the ‘My Diary’ page, as displayed within the below screenshot.

If you scroll down on this page you will see all your upcoming shifts displayed within the calendar view as shown in the below screenshot:

To change the selected month simply click on the arrows on either side of the month as displayed in the above screenshot.

You’re also able to filter the shifts you wish to display based on those ‘Applied’, ‘Booked’, ‘Completed’, ‘Cancelled’ or ‘All Shifts’. To do this click on the drop-down option before selecting the relevant option as displayed below:

Once you have located the shift you wish to cancel simply click on the relevant shift within the calendar view. The following screen will then appear:

At this stage you will select ‘View Details’ which will display the following screen:

If you hover over the green ‘Working’ button it will give you the option to ‘Cancel’ as displayed below:

At this point you will select ‘Cancel’ to display the following modal:

Firstly, you will be required to select a ‘Cancellation Reason’ from the available drop-down menu.

Once selected you MUST utilise the ‘Additional Information’ text box to elaborate on your reason for cancellation. Failure to populate the ‘Additional Information’ section can result in a delay in the approval of your cancellation request.

Before submitting a cancellation request we advise reviewing our ‘Cancellation Policy’, this can be accessed on this modal via the available hyperlink.

To submit your cancellation request click on the ‘Confirm Cancellation’ button.
