Lite - How to Configure Locations

Locations:

A complete guide on how to configure your store locations on the Locate a Locum platform. Ensuring your location configurations are up to date will streamline your use of the platform.

To begin, click on the ‘Locations’ tab displayed on the left hand side of the main navigation panel.

Once selected the following screen will display:

On the ‘Locations’ screen, you’ll have the ability to add, edit or delete locations. To edit an existing location click on the ‘Cog’ icon within the ‘Actions’ column. Alternatively to delete a region that is no longer in use, click on the ‘Bin’ icon.

To create a new location, click on the green ‘Add’ button displayed on the top right-hand corner of the ‘Locations’ main screen.

Details:

The modal will open on the ‘Details’ tab, you can use this section to add general store details such as ‘Name’, ‘Reference Number’, ‘Phone Number’, ‘Cost Centre Reference’ & ‘Address’ by free texting into the text box provided.

You can also select the ‘Currency’ & ‘Payment Region’ from each of the respective drop down menus. It’s worth noting that you will only be able to assign a ‘Payment Region’ once your companies 'Regions’ have been configured.

Opening Times:

On the ‘Opening Times’ tab you’ll be able to configure the location opening times for each day of the week. If the location is closed on any particular day then you can check the ‘Closed’ check box provided.

If you are utilising the Rota module within the LAL platform you can also check the ‘Update future shifts?’ check box to update all Employee assigned shifts that are scheduled in the future.

Rates:

On the ‘Rates’ tab, you’ll be able to set daily rates for each of your locum job types. To populate your daily rates, simply free text in or utilise the arrows provided.

Breaks:

On the ‘Breaks’ tab you’ll be able to configure whether or not you have paid or unpaid breaks at this location. If this location has paid breaks then check the ‘Paid Breaks’ check box next to each of the days displayed.

Alternatively, if this location has unpaid breaks then simply populate the break duration for each day by free texting into the text boxes provided.

Additional Notes:

On the ‘Additional Notes’ tab, you’ll be able to utilise the text boxes available to detail location specific information on things such as mileage, lunch breaks & accommodation.

As well as adding comments regarding staffing levels and preferred experience to work at this location. In addition, you can click beside the relevant ‘Pace’ to indicate whether it is a ‘Slow’ ‘Moderate’ or ‘Fast’ paced environment.

Once you are happy with the configurations that you’ve made to the new location select the green ‘Save’ icon to save your changes.
