How to Enable or Disable Instant Book for a Locum?

The ability for a locum to instant book is at the discretion of the employer, this guide will detail how to enable or disable instant book for a locum.

Once you log into your profile, you will need to navigate to the ‘People’ tab located on the top left-hand side of the main navigation panel.

On the ‘People’ tab you will be required to edit the ‘User Type’ to ‘Locum’:

You can then search for the locum by name or by email. Once located, click on their name as this is a hyperlink to the following modal:

At this stage, you must click on the tab titled ‘Settings’.

To update the locum’s ‘Instant Book’ status you must click on the downward arrow to display the drop down menu.

Once selected you’ll have the option to select ‘Not Set’, ‘Enabled’ or ‘Disabled’.

You’ll also note the ability to disable instant book at specific store locations. To do this, simply click on the downward arrow and select the location(s) you wish to prevent the locum from instant booking at.

Once you’re happy with the changes made click on the green ‘Save Changes’ button.
