How to block a locum:

A step-by-step guide on how to remove a locum from your licence.

It’s worth noting that removed locums will still retain visibility of your live shifts and the ability to apply. If you do not wish for locums to retain this ability they must be ‘Blocked’.

Once you log into your profile, you will need to navigate to the ‘People’ tab located on the top left-hand side of the main navigation panel.

On the ‘People’ tab you will be required to edit the ‘User Type’ to ‘Locum’:

You can then search for the locum by name or by email. Once located, click on their name as this is a hyperlink to the following modal:

At this stage, you must click on the tab titled ‘Settings’.

To remove this locum from your licence you can set the ‘Candidate Status’ to ‘Removed’ by selecting the relevant opinion from the applicable drop-down menu.

Once updated, select the green ‘Save Changes’ button.
