In LAL Unlimited we have two categories of Users:

Contracted User: A user specified within the agreed contracted user Amount.

Flexible User: A user specified as being in addition to the agreed contracted user amount.

User Definition: Any individual granted access to your software licence. A user is anyone who appears on your People page.

Users are broken down into 3 types:

Employees: These are any users that work for your organisation e.g. System Administrators, Branch Managers, Regional Managers, Finance Managers etc.

Locums: These are self-employed contractors that perform shifts within your organisation.

Agencies: These are 3rd party businesses that you work with typically by sending them available shifts and supplying locums.

The total of these 3 user types will be combined to calculate your Total User Count which will inform billing. User counts are provided alongside billing information.

Adding Users

Employee, locum and agency users may be added to your licence by inviting them to the system or using a manual import.

Locum users will also be added to your licence if they:

  • Sign up for your company landing page

  • Book into one of your shifts

  • Apply for your shift and have to complete pre-authorisation compliance checks

Deleting Users

Employee, locum and agency users may be deleted from your licence using the delete function within the people page.

Note - If a user is removed, a fee is due until the end of the month of Removal.
