A complete guide detailing the steps required to remove a user that no longer requires access to your licence.

Firstly, users on LAL are broken down into 3 types:

  • Employees: These are any users that work for your organisation e.g. System Administrators, Branch Managers, Regional Managers, Finance Managers etc.

  • Locums: These are self-employed contractors that perform shifts within your organisation.

  • Agencies: These are 3rd party businesses that you work with typically by sending them available shifts and supplying locums.

Deleting an Employee User:

Once you log into your profile, you will need to navigate to the ‘People’ tab located on the top left-hand side of the main navigation panel.

On the ‘People’ tab you will note the ability to search for the user you wish to delete by ‘Name/ Email’ & ‘User Type’:

Once you have located the employee you wish to delete, check the check box next to the employee’s name:

Once checked, click on the green ‘Options’ button & select the option to ‘Delete employee(s)’:

You will then be prompted asking are you sure you want to delete this user:

At this stage, you will select the green ‘Yes’ button.

Removing a Locum User:

It’s worth noting that removed locums will still retain visibility of your live shifts and the ability to apply. If you do not wish for locums to retain this ability they must be ‘Blocked’.

On the ‘People’ tab you will be required to edit the ‘User Type’ to ‘Locum’:

You can then search for the locum by name or by email. Once located, click on their name as this is a hyperlink to the following modal:

At this stage, you must click on the tab titled ‘Settings’.

To remove this locum from your licence you can must select the option ‘Removed’ from the ‘Candidate Status’ drop down menu.

Once updated, select the green ‘Save Changes’ button to remove this locum.

Deleting an Agency User:

Firstly, to delete an agency user you’ll be required to access the ‘Agency Manager’. To do this, you will need to navigate to the ‘Cog’ icon located on the top right-hand side of the main navigation panel.

Once you select the ‘Cog’ icon, the dropdown menu will appear.

Here, you will select the option for ‘Agency Manager’. Once selected the below screen will display:

In the ‘Actions’ column you’ll note the bin icon, click here.

The above modal will then display, at this stage you will select the red ‘Delete’ button to delete the selected agency user.
