Overview:

We are excited to introduce the Multi-Location Blocks feature, enabling companies to create blocks from existing shifts across multiple locations. These blocks can be set to be either mandatory or non-mandatory blocks. Blocks will be visible on both the mobile app and website, allowing locums to easily apply for them and book shifts across wider regions without restrictions.

Key Features for companies:

  • Creating Multi-Location Blocks:

    • Company users can select multiple shifts and use a bulk action to create a multi-location block.

    • Selected shifts will be grouped together into a single block spanning multiple locations.

    • Once created, the block will be advertised to locums as a multi-location block with all relevant details.

  • Enhanced Location Clarity:

    • Blocks Page Display: Multi-location blocks are labelled as Main Location +X (where X represents the number of additional locations).

    • Applications for Blocks: Updated modals to accommodate multi-location blocks.

    • Shift Detail Pages: Each shift within a block displays new location descriptions for clarity.

  • Improved Email Formatting:

    • Emails for locums and agencies now clearly display the different locations within multi-location blocks.

    • When a company selects shifts and sends them to agencies, an email is triggered with block details.

Key Features for Locums:

  • Mobile & Web Experience:

    • Blocks Marked as Multi-Location: Clearly labeled in search results.

    • Detailed Block View: Users can see all included locations when viewing a block.

  • Expanded Search Visibility:

    • Removed radius & country restrictions from the Blocks tab in homepage search.

    • Locums can now view and apply for block shifts across the entire platform.

  • Shift & Location Requirements Popup:

    • When locums apply for a multi-location block, a pop-up appears displaying all shift & location requirements, including any required computer systems.

    • Users must tick an acceptance checkbox before proceeding with their application.

    • Aggregated Requirements: Ensures locums are fully informed by combining requirements from all locations within the block.

  • Cross-Regional Shift Booking:

    • No restrictions on applying for shifts across regional and compliance divides.
