Refer a Friend

Introduce a Friend and Earn a £40 voucher each

How it Works

Introducing someone using the Refer a Friend scheme couldn’t be easier:

  • Sign up a pharmacy friend to Locate a Locum using the referral link on your account.

  • Your friend can browse through the available shifts and apply for the job of their choice.

  • After your friend has booked their first shift, you will both receive a £40 voucher as a thank you from us.

  • You must both have worked at least one shift to be eligible for the £40 voucher and the referral link must be used when a friend signs up to Locate A Locum.

  • If your friend has not used your unique link to sign-up we will be unable to process this reward.

Payments are made on or around the 15th and 30th of each month. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the voucher to arrive in your email inbox.

October 2023 DBS Update Service Promotion

To help make your life easier Locate a Locum will reimburse the cost of the DBS Update Service by the 23rd of October (T&Cs Apply).

How to Claim:

  1. Apply for DBS Update Service using this link (click here)

  2. Update your Locate a Locum Profile with your DBS Update Service ID

  3. Send us a receipt as proof of payment for your DBS Update Service

  • LAL profile must but updated & proof sent by the 23rd of October 2023 in order to claim rewards

  • Users must have completed 10 shifts via Locate a Locum

  • To be eligible for this Locate a Locum promotion you must be an approved locum on Locate a Locum that has been actively applying and/or working shifts within the last 3 months (90 days).

  • You must express interest by emailing Locate a Locum with proof of payment in the form of a valid VAT receipt

  • Numbers are limited and will be given out on a first-come first serve basis.

  • Payments will be issued by the 20th of November. Please allow 5 working days for the amount to appear in your bank account.

  • Please confirm that the bank details saved to your Locate a Locum account are correct including account name and whether you have a personal or business account.

DBS Reimbursement 

Process:

Don't have an up-to-date DBS certificate? Don't worry Locate a Locum will pay for you to get one, here's how it works:

  1. Send us proof of payment (simply reply to this email)

  2. Once you work 10 shifts directly through Locate a Locum we will reimburse you.

This document will explain the process of reimbursing a locum for their DBS Certificate once they have been successfully booked onto 10 shifts directly through Locate a Locum. This promotion applies to all pharmacy staff working through Locate a Locum. 

  1. You must express interest by emailing Locate a Locum with proof of DBS payment (dated after 25th March 2020) in the form of a post office receipt or receipt of payment**.

  2. You will be reimbursed on a monthly basis. For example, if you complete your 10th shift on 15th April a report will be generated on the 1st of May and Payment will be made by 20th May.

  3. It costs only £65.20 to get an enhanced DBS check via Locate a Locum. We believe this is one of the cheapest on the market available to pharmacists. Locate a Locum will reimburse the price of the DBS certificate only to the value of £65.20***.

**Promotion is unable to be applied if there is a failure to produce a receipt

Insurance Cashback

Overview

Claim £50 cashback on your indemnity insurance after you have completed your 15th shift with Locate a Locum.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Purchase your Indemnity insurance here - insurance must be taken out through NPA**

  2. Book and work 15 shifts directly through Locate a Locum*.

  3. Once you have completed your 15th shift, you must express interest in this offer by sending us a copy of the receipt for your insurance.

  4. A Locate a Locum Team member will verify your receipt and send you your £50 cashback 💸.

  5. Payments are made in the month following the 15th shift. For example, if you complete your 15th shift on 15th April a report will be generated on the 1st of May and Payment will be made by 20th May.

Level Up rewards payments will be issued by the 20th of the month. Please allow 5 working days for the amount to appear in your bank account.

Please confirm that the bank details saved to your Locate a Locum account are correct including account name and whether you have a personal or business account.

*Please note 15 shifts must have been worked after the 1st January 2022 - any shifts worked prior to this date will not be included.

**Cashback can only be provided when the insurance has been taken out via NPA.

Permanent Referrals

Overview

Refer a friend to a permanent role and as a thank you from us, we’ll reward you with £250 for each recommendation. We’ve set the below terms and conditions for our promotion.

Terms and conditions:


1 . One person can refer multiple people and receive multiple vouchers if they are placed according to the terms below.

1.1 Employment by a Locum introduced by the e-Locum Service.

2. Your recommendation must be mentioned by the candidate before or at registration - referrals made at a later stage may not qualify.

3. Referred friends must have completed a qualifying period of at least 12 weeks in a permanent role.

4. We can only accept referrals for people who are over 18 years and are already working in the UK, or those who are eligible to work in the UK.

5. You can't recommend yourself!

6. This Refer a Friend promotion will not qualify if Locate a Locum has been in contact with the referred candidate at any time in the last 6 months before the referral is made.

7. In the event of any disputed rewards, Locate a Locum's decision will be final.

8. By using the Refer a Friend scheme you are acknowledging and accepting these terms and conditions in their entirety.

Refer a Friend - Optometrists

  • Your friend can browse through the available shifts and apply for the job of their choice.

  • After your friend has booked their first shift, you will both receive a £40 voucher as a thank you from us.

  • You must both have worked at least one shift to be eligible for the £40 voucher.

Payments are made on the 15th and 30th of each month. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the voucher to arrive in your email inbox.

Welcome Bonus - Optometrists

  • Sign up and work for Locate a Locum on an optometry shift and get a £50 One4All voucher (Valid for shifts booked after 1st April 2022 and worked any time in the future).

  • Vouchers are issued after you complete your first shift and are processed on a monthly basis.

  • The first shift worked must be represented by Locate a Locum

Pharmacy Show 2023 - £50 Bonus

Locate a Locum are attending the Pharmacy Show 2023!

If you sign up to Locate a Locum at the pharmacy show you will receive a £50 bonus when you work your first shift!

How it works

  • At the show, our team will be handing out flyers with a QR code, scan this code, sign up and create your account before 28th October 2023

  • If you do not sign-up via the QR code on the flyers you will not be eligible for this promotion.

  • Once signed up you will then be able to browse through the 1000s of shifts on our platform and apply or instantly book shifts

  • After you have worked your first shift you will then receive a one-time £50 bonus!

Note you must work your first shift before the 23rd of December 2023.

Payments are made within one calendar month of working your shift.

Ambassador Program

Through membership in our ambassador program, we will support you in several different ways. You will receive:

  • £250 per month for a fixed contract of 6 months.

  • Give £40, Get £60: Receive a £60 bonus for every referred user who works with us and the referred user will also receive £40 - win, win!

  • Locate A Locum ambassador pack - an assortment of Locate A Locum promotional materials, a social media pack, and more!

As part of the ambassador program, ambassadors are expected to produce monthly content. The content produced per month varies depending on the platform, length of content etc. Any sponsored content is to be reviewed by Locate A Locum before publishing and shared with Locate A Locum for promotional purposes.

As a general rule, we expect either 1 piece of long-form content (webinar, YouTube video etc.) or 2 to 3 pieces of short-form content (e.g. social media posts, stories, or reels/TikTok). We will work with you closely on this and if you have any questions please contact either sarah@locatealocum.com or stevie@locatealocum.com.

Enrolment in the ambassador program is for a fixed period of 6 months, on completion of the 6 months members of our ambassador program will be automatically unenrolled. Locate A Locum maintains the right to unenroll ambassadors at their discretion before the 6-month completion.

While enrolled in the program we ask that all ambassadors do not work with any competitor company for brand deals or one-off sponsorships.

Locum referral of Optometry Business to Marketplace.

Overview

If a locum refers a new pharmacy business to Locate a Locum and that business signs up and gets its account verified, we will give the referring locum a £40 one 4 all voucher.

  2. Referred businesses must complete sign-up and verification for the referring locum to qualify for the reward.

  3. Referred business should not have been previously billed by Locum Match Ltd t/a Locate a Locum

  4. The locum's full name and email address as registered (exactly) on the Locate a Locum platform must be entered as the referral source on the sign-up form.

  5. Vouchers are issued in the month following the completed sign-up. For example, if business sign-up and verification is completed on the 15th of April a report will be generated on the 1st of May and the voucher will be issued by the 30th of May.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for the payment to arrive in your bank account.

Locum referral of Optometry Business to Marketplace.

Optometry Business Marketplace Promotion

Overview

If an Optometry business signs up to Locate a Locum's marketplace by the 31st of March 2023 and has their first shift worked by the 30th of April 2023, we will credit their account the locum fee / or reduce worked shifts by the count of one on the invoice.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Offer is subject to account validation and the Client (you) having not previously been billed by Locum Match Ltd t/a Locate a Locum.

  2. The client is responsible for paying the locum.

  3. Offer is only valid for optometry business.

  4. Sign-up must be completed on or before the 31st of March 2023.

  5. The first shift has to be worked on or before the 30th of April 2023.
