Great news, we’ve added a new feature called ‘Shift Expiry’. It has been created to prevent a candidate's application from being idle for too long. It gives employers a cleaner, clearer view of shifts that need applicants and frees up the available locum pool.

Shift Expiry is useful to flag shifts still available and it gives employers complete control over what to do with the shift, for example increasing the rate to get applicants.

What’s new?

The following criteria must be met before an application can be expired:

  • Applications for shifts will expire after 5 days unless they are booked

  • Must be for a shift with a start time in the next 30 days.

  • If you are a workforce management client this will not impact you.

How will I be notified?

If any of your shifts are due to expire you will be notified via email (see below). In coming days you will also have the ability to turn off these notifications from the ‘Company Manager’ Page.

Employers can stop a shift expiring by republishing it, which extends it for another 7 days. For applications, they will always expire after 5 days, unless they are booked.
