To create shifts, once you log into your profile you will need to navigate to the ‘Rota’ tab located on the top left-hand side of the below screenshot.

Once you select the ‘Rota’ tab the following screen will appear:

Scroll down on the rota until you see the employee you would like to assign an overtime shift to. Simply, navigate to the applicable date and hover over the '+' (plus) icon and you will see the option to 'Add Shift'. As shown in the below example for ‘John Pharmacist’ on ‘Wed 06 Apr’:

Once you select the option to ‘Add Shift’ the following screen will display:

On this screen you will see the ‘Is Overtime?’ check box, check this box to indicate that the shift is overtime. You can also edit information around the ‘Shift Details’ or notify the employee by clicking on the ‘Assigned Person’ tab and selecting the ‘Notify Employee’ checkbox as displayed below:

You can also detail additional information within the ‘Shift Notes’ before selecting the green button to ‘Create & Publish’ the shift onto your Rota Calendar.

The overtime logo will then be displayed with the shift cell on the Rota as displayed above.

Marking an Existing Shift as Overtime:

Within the ‘Rota’ calendar view locate the shift you wish to mark as overtime.

Once you have located the relevant shift. Click on the relevant shift cell within the calendar view to edit, as demonstrated below with ‘John Pharmacist’s’ shift on the ‘Mon 04 Apr’:

On this screen you will see the ‘Is Overtime?’ check box, check this box to indicate that the shift is overtime. You can then select the green ‘Save Changes’ button to save the shift as overtime.

Once saved the shift will update within the Rota view to display the ‘Overtime’ icon as displayed below:
