Before you start
Access is permissions-based. If you can’t see location options, ask a Company Admin.
Steps
Open Rota
Go to Rota from the main navigation.
2. Find the shift
Filter by Dates, Location, Job Types, or Labels to locate the shift.
3. Open the shift menu
In the shift cell, click the downward arrow (top-right) to open the dropdown.
4. Choose Change Location
Select Change Location.
5. Select the new location
Pick the New Location from the dropdown.
The system will auto-load the new location’s configuration (e.g., times/rates).
6. Review details & notify
Edit any Shift Details if needed.
(Optional) Tick Notify Worker to inform the assigned person of the change.
7. Confirm
Click Confirm (green) to apply the update.
Tips
Use filters first to avoid moving the wrong shift, especially in busy rotas.
Use Notify Worker to trigger a system generated notification to the affected user.
Troubleshooting
Change Location not visible: You may lack permissions; check with a Company Admin.
New Location missing from dropdown: Confirm you have access to the destination location.
