Firstly, you will need to navigate to the ‘Cog’ icon located on the top right-hand side of the below screenshot:

Once you select the ‘Cog’ icon the following drop-down menu will appear:

At this stage you will select ‘Clock-In Settings’, and the following screen will then display:

General:

At this stage, if you select the downward arrow next to the heading ‘General’ you will see the heading ‘Allow Clock-In Without Shift?’ and the associated check box. Check the checkbox to enable employees to clock in without a shift.

Thresholds:

If you click on the downward arrow beside the heading ‘Thresholds’, you’ll be presented with configurable options for granting staff leeway for clocking in & out of shifts.

You’ll also have the option to enable ‘Auto-Approval’ for clock-ins that are on time & the ability to set an ‘Automatic clock-out type’.

If you select the option ‘Time’, then you’ll be required to populate the ‘Automatic clock-out time’ by selecting an option from the drop-down menu.

If you select the option ‘Duration’, then you’ll be able to free text in the duration in hours or utilise the arrows provided to populate.

Notices:

If you select the ‘Notices’ downward arrow, you’ll be presented with two free text boxes where you can leave company notice for clocking in and clocking out.

Whilst also deciding which company events you’d like to make visible to employees.

Once you are happy with the configurations you have made to your ‘Clock-in Settings’ click on the green ‘Save’ icon.
