Once on the ‘Shifts’ screen, you will see the sub-heading ‘Blocks’ under the ‘All Shifts’ heading on the tabs on the left hand side. Click here.

You’ll also note the ‘+ Add Filter’ option, click here to reveal the following drop-down menu:

Once you have located the block of shifts that you wish to edit, click on the shift dates as this is a hyperlink that will bring you to the following screen:

On this screen, you will see the green ‘Settings’ button. Click here to display the following modal:

Here, you’ll be able to edit the block type by selecting either an ‘Optional’ block (Locums can select which shifts within the block they wish to apply for) or a ‘Mandatory’ block (Locums can only apply for the entire block).

If you wish to split the block into individual shifts then you can select the grey ‘Split Block’ button to reveal the following modal:

Should you wish to proceed with splitting the block at this stage you will need to select the green ‘Yes, Republish’ button.

Alternatively, once you’re happy with the edits made to the ‘Block Settings’, click on the green ‘Save Changes’ button.
