How to Send Communication to Locums (in-app or email)

Use this guide to bulk message locums from the People screen.

Before you start

  • Access is permissions-based. If you can’t see messaging options, ask a Company Admin.

Steps

  1. Open People
    Go to People from the main navigation.

  1. Show locums
    Set User Type to Locum.

  2. Find recipients
    Search by name or email or select an option from the +Add Filter drop down menu to further refine your search.

  3. Select recipients
    Tick the checkbox beside each locum you want to contact.

  4. Open messaging options
    Click Options → Send Communications to User.

  5. Choose a channel and compose

  • Send In-App Notifications

  • Enter a Title.

  • Select a Defining Tag from the dropdown.

  • Write your Message.

  • Send Email

  • Write your Message.

  • The Subject auto-populates with your company name.

  • Your signature auto-populates (name, registered email, and mobile if recorded).

  1. Send
    Click Send Communication To Selected Users (green button).

Tips

  • Keep messages short and action-focused.

  • Sense-check your recipient list before sending bulk messages.

Troubleshooting

  • Options button is greyed out: Select at least one locum.

  • Send button disabled (in-app): Add a Title, Defining Tag, and Message.

  • Send button disabled (email): Add a Message.
