How to Run ‘Gap Reports’ to Find Gaps in your Rota

A step-by-step guide on how to run reports to find gaps in your rota.

To identify gaps in your rota, you will need to navigate to the ‘Rota’ tab located on the top left-hand side of the below screenshot.

Once you select the ‘Rota’ tab the following screen will appear:

At this stage, you will select the ‘Reports’ Tab located at the top of the screen. Once selected the below screen will appear:

At this stage you will select the tab titled ‘Gaps’ to display the following screen:

You’ll note that prior to running the report you can apply filters such as ‘Region’, ‘Location’, Dates & ‘Job Type’. Once you have applied the relevant filters select the green ‘Run’ button to display any gaps as shown below:

From this screen, you’ll note the ‘Actions’ column has a green button titled ‘View In Rota’ select this option to view the relevant gap within the calendar view in Rota.
